| dc.description | ABSTRACT
One of the most important economic activities in the world within the manufacturing sector is the textile industry. From the mid-eighteenth century this industry began to develop in countries such as Great Britain, France, Belgium and the United States. This work aims to collect, review and synthesize the publications that have been made on the textile industry. For this, a bibliometric analysis of the articles related to the study topic published between 2011 and 2021 in free access databases such as Redalyc, SciELO and CLASE was carried out.
The results obtained show us that between the years 2019 and 2020 the largest number of investigations has been carried out; The male gender is the one who has mainly carried out the investigations of this industry; Mexico concentrates the largest number of publications, most of them in Spanish, and; There is a great opportunity in this field for research on technology and innovation for new production processes with a vision of sustainability. | en-US |

Una de las actividades económicas más importantes del mundo dentro del sector manufacturero es la industria textil. A partir de mediados del siglo XVIII esta industria comenzó a desarrollarse en países como la Gran Bretaña, Francia, Bélgica y Estados Unidos. Con este trabajo se pretende recopilar, revisar y sintetizar las publicaciones que se han realizado sobre la industria textil. Para ello, se realizó un análisis bibliométrico de los artículos relacionados con el tema de estudios publicados entre 2011 y 2021 en bases de datos de libre acceso tales como Redalyc, SciELO y CLASE.
Los resultados obtenidos nos muestran que entre los años 2019 y 2020 se ha hecho el mayor número de investigaciones; el género masculino es quien principalmente ha llevado las investigaciones de esta industria; México concentra el mayor número de publicaciones, la mayoría en español, y; existe una gran oportunidad en este campo para la investigación sobre la tecnología e innovación para nuevos procesos productivos con una visión hacia la sustentabilidad. | es-ES |
