dc.description	The antecedents of mediation are studied as a response to restorative justice in relation to criminal behavior and its subsequent extrapolation to Spain. Likewise, a brief allusion is made to the different institutions that operate in Spain as Courts for minors and the repercussion that they had at the time. Finally, it is analyzed in accordance with the Organic Law in force 5/2000, of January 12, regulating the criminal responsibility of affected minors, are the subjects of the mediation, as well as the repercussion that the content established in this matter presents in articles 19 and 51 to the previous one the possibility of using mediation/conciliation.	en-US
dc.description	Se estudian los antecedentes de la mediación como una respuesta a la justicia restaurativa en relación con los comportamientos de carácter delictivo y su ulterior extrapolación a España. Asimismo, se hace una breve alusión a las diferentes instituciones que actuaron en España como Tribunales para menores y, la repercusión que tuvieron en su momento. Finalmente, se analiza de conformidad con la vigente Ley Orgánica 5/2000, de 12 de enero, reguladora de la responsabilidad penal de los menores cuáles son los sujetos destinatarios de la mediación, así como la repercusión que en esta materia presenta el contenido establecido en los artículos 19 y 51 al preverse la posibilidad de utilizar la mediación/conciliación.	es-ES
