dc.descriptionCatechesis in the Church and in today's world faces many challenges. The cultural context, with the phenomenon of digital culture, shows a radical change in the existence and relationships of people. The change of times that we are experiencing as a humanity and as a planet is characterized by a global crisis of great proportions, a crisis made up of many others that directly affect the catechetical practice of the Church. The various characteristics, both of the profile of the catechist and of catechetical practice, recognized by the Magisterium of the Church, should respond to the ever new demands of the Gospel and to the current historical situation. It is this historical conjuncture that conditions the various challenges of catechesis in every age. What are the challenges for catechesis today in the face of evangelization in the world of the 21st century? This essay seeks to highlight four essential challenges to catechesis today: the testimony, the encounter with Jesus alive in the community, the updating of the language, and the ecological and environmental issues. Each of these challenges can become a response to the global crisis from which humanity suffers.en-US
dc.descriptionSon muchos los desafíos que enfrenta hoy la catequesis en la Iglesia y en el mundo actual. El contexto cultural, con el fenómeno de la comunicación digital, evidencia un cambio radical en la existencia y en las relaciones de las personas. El cambio de época que vivimos como humanidad y como planeta se caracteriza por una crisis global que se manifiesta en muchas dimensiones vitales que afectan directamente la práctica catequética de la Iglesia. Las diversas características tanto del perfil del catequista como de la práctica catequética reconocidas por el Magisterio de la Iglesia deberían responder a las exigencias siempre nuevas del evangelio y a la coyuntura histórica actual. Dicha coyuntura es la que condiciona los distintos desafíos de la catequesis de cada época. ¿Cuáles son esos desafíos que se plantean hoy a la catequesis de cara a la evangelización del mundo del siglo XXI? El presente ensayo busca poner de relieve cuatro desafíos imprescindibles que se plantean en hoy a la catequesis: el testimonial, el del encuentro con Jesús vivo en la comunidad, el de la actualización del lenguaje y el ecológico y medioambiental. Cada uno de estos desafíos puede llegar a ser una respuesta a la crisis global que sufrimos como humanidad.es-ES
