dc.descriptionThe constitution of the family has changed considerably in recent decades, giving way to new forms of family as a result of the role changes that its members have experienced in society. The matrimonial conception of the family, composed of a father, a mother and their children, has been surpassed, which has meant a challenge for our legal system, in order to recognize this new social reality. In this context and from the legal area, the notion of the extended family arises with an intense participation of grandparents in the role of upbringing, whose content we intend to study in this research. Thus, the work will address the notion of family and institutions that give legal recognition to grandparents.en-US
dc.descriptionLa constitución de la familia ha variado considerablemente en las últimas décadas, dando paso a nuevas formas de familia como consecuencia del cambio de roles que sus miembros han experimentado en la sociedad. La concepción matrimonial de la familia, compuesta por un padre, una madre y sus hijos ha sido superada, lo que ha supuesto un desafío para nuestro ordenamiento jurídico, en orden a reconocer esta nueva realidad social. En este contexto y desde el área jurídica, surge la noción de familia extensa con una intensa participación de los abuelos en el rol de crianza, cuyo contenido pretendemos estudiar en esta investigación. De este modo, el trabajo abordará la noción de familia e instituciones que realizan un reconocimiento jurídico a los abuelos.es-ES
