This article deals with the political division that the National Socialist Movement of Chile experienced and its transfonnation in 1939 into the Popular Socialist Vanguard, a socialist, democratic and anti-fascist party. On the other band its polítical policy of approaching and criticizing the Popular front Govemrnent, until its definitive decline after the municipal elections of 1941.Este artículo trata la división política que experimentó el Movimiento Nacional Socialista de Chile y su transformación en 1939 en Vanguardia Popular Socialista, partido socialista, democrático y antifascista. Por otra parte se aborda su actuación política de acercamiento y crítica al gobierno del Frente Popular, hasta su definitiva declinación después de las elecciones municipales de 1941.
