| dc.description | The aim of this research is to propose a statistical model to predict the psychomotor development score in 4 - 5 year old children depending on their socioeconomic status. In designing the model, the battery TEPSI was applied to evaluate the psychomotor development of a group of individuals. In addition, parents and guardians were surveyed by means of socio-demographic survey to determine the socioeconomic status. The results indicated that the educational level of the head of household and the per capita income significantly correlated with psychomotor development; the administrative unit does not correlate. It is informed that three models were designed. The first model allows to predict a 4,2% of the psychomotor development scores on the basis of the per capita income variable. The second model is able to predict 11% of the score of language based on the per capita income variable. Finally, the third model, with low predictive value (2,2%), allows to predict the coordination score depending on the educational level of the head of the household. | en-US |
| dc.description | Se presenta la propuesta de un modelo estadístico para predecir el puntaje de desarrollo psicomotor de niños de 4 a 5 años de edad en función del nivel socioeconómico. Se evaluó el desarrollo psicomotor por medio del TEPSI. Para el nivel socioeconómico se aplicó una encuesta sociodemográfica a los padres y apoderados. Los resultados reportaron que el nivel educacional del jefe/a de hogar y el ingreso per cápita correlacionan significativamente con el desarrollo psicomotor, no correlaciona la dependencia administrativa. Se informa que fue posible diseñar tres modelos. El primero, permite predecir un 4,2% del puntaje en el desarrollo psicomotor en función de la variable ingreso per cápita. El segundo es capaz de predecir en un 11% el puntaje del Lenguaje en base a la variable ingreso per cápita. El tercero, con bajo valor predictor (2,2%), permite predecir el puntaje de la Coordinación, en función del nivel educacional del jefe de hogar. | es-ES |
