| dc.description | This article aims to generate a space for reflection on the conflicting but latent binomial within American history: the notion of civilization-barbarism. For this purpose, it was decided to resort to concepts and interpretative ways triggered by American thinkers, who have located and enabled a way to think this conceptual binomial that runs through American history, distancing themselves, with a critical but propositive look, from circumscribing the analysis to a fatalistic look. As a way of approaching these regional experiences of American punk, we resorted to the presence of biographical testimonies. In particular, biographies, press interviews and audiovisual documentaries that, being part of an incipient editorial ecosystem in Latin America, seek to leave testimony and record of other ways of thinking and thinking from American societies. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente artículo se propone generar un espacio de reflexión sobre el binomio conflictivo pero latente dentro de la historia americana: la noción de civilización-barbarie. Para ello, se optó por recurrir a conceptos y vías interpretativas gatilladas por pensadores americanos, que han situado y habilitado una vía para pensar este binomio conceptual que recorre la historia americana, distanciándose, con una mirada crítica pero propositiva, de circunscribir el análisis a una mirada fatalista.
Como vía de aproximación a estas experiencias regionales del punk americano, se recurrió a la presencia de testimonios biográficos. Apelando, en particular, a biografías, entrevistas en prensa y documentales audiovisuales que, siendo integrantes de un incipiente ecosistema editorial en América Latina, buscan dejar testimonio y registro de otras formas de pensar y pensarse desde las sociedades americanas. | es-ES |
