| dc.description | This research is the final part of the Master’s degree in Higher Education, with a Major in University Teaching from the University Arturo Prat, and it seeks to acknowledge and interpret the perception of the Teaching Education Program students on the evaluation of what they have learned throughout their academic life, training process and their projection as mediators of the teaching and learning process in their professional life. Methodologically, it is related to an interpretative paradigm used to inquire into the conceptions of reality and not on its causative effects. It is designed to know if the students perceive evaluations as a key formative process in their professional development that will serve as an instrument and gives them the needed experience to be used strategically in their professional life. The research contains, in the first stage, the approach to the problem and the theoretical contributions regarding evaluations in universities both at a national and international level, as well as key concepts about the evaluation of learning. Subsequently, a semi-structured interview is conducted with senior year students of the Teaching Education Program from a university located in extreme northern Chile on their perception of the evaluations of learning. Finally, all the data provided is analyzed qualitatively regarding the students´ perceptions on the evaluations as well as the strengths and weaknesses they possess one year prior to exercising their profession as teachers. | en-US |
| dc.description | La presente investigación forma parte del trabajo final del Magister en Educación Superior, Mención Docencia Universitaria de la Universidad Arturo Prat, y busca conocer e interpretar la percepción de los estudiantes de pedagogía sobre la evaluación de los aprendizajes durante su vida académica, proceso de formación y la proyección como mediadores del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en su vida profesional. Metodológicamente, guarda relación con un paradigma de tipo interpretativo para indagar las concepciones de la realidad y no sobre los efectos causales de la misma, así como está diseñada para conocer si ellos ven la evaluación como un proceso formativo clave en su formación profesional que les sirva de insumo y les otorgue la experiencia necesaria para utilizarla estratégicamente en su vida profesional. La investigación contiene en una primera etapa el planteamiento del problema y los aportes teóricos respecto de la evaluación en las universidades a nivel nacional e internacional, además de conceptos claves sobre la evaluación de los aprendizajes. Luego, se realiza una entrevista semiestructurada a estudiantes de último año de Pedagogía de una universidad chilena ubicada en el extremo norte del país, respecto a su percepción sobre la evaluación para los aprendizajes. Finalmente se analizan los datos entregados de manera cualitativa respecto a sus percepciones de cómo conciben la evaluación y cuáles son las fortalezas y debilidades que poseen a un año de ejercer su profesión como docentes. | es-ES |
