| dc.description | The climate emergency is an indisputable reality that is causing unprecedented changes globally. Education and climate literacy are essential to raise awareness and foster knowledge of concepts related to climate change. This will empower people to take action to protect the environment and help develop new technologies and jobs that can combat the current climate crisis.In this sense, the main objective of this study is to investigate the perception that first-year high school students have about climate change, since it is considered that this is a level in which environmental issues are deepened. The results obtained indicate that the students surveyed have a superficial understanding of climate change and are unaware of its causes and manifestations. In addition, it is observed that students are concerned about the adverse effects of climate change, which suggests the need to delve into the factors related to the climate crisis.In conclusion, the importance of developing environmental education and climate literacy strategies to promote knowledge and awareness of the current climate crisis becomes evident. This will allow individuals to acquire skills and tools to make informed decisions and contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation. | en-US |
| dc.description | La emergencia climática es una realidad indiscutible que está causando cambios sin precedentes a nivel global. La educación y la alfabetización climática son fundamentales para crear conciencia y fomentar el conocimiento de conceptos relacionados con el cambio climático. Esto permitirá empoderar a las personas para tomar medidas que protejan el medio ambiente y contribuyan a desarrollar nuevas tecnologías y trabajos que puedan combatir la crisis climática actual. En este sentido, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo principal investigar la percepción que tienen los estudiantes de primer año medio sobre el cambio climático, ya que se considera que este es un nivel en el que se profundiza en la temática del medio ambiente. Los resultados obtenidos indican que los estudiantes encuestados tienen una comprensión superficial del cambio climático y desconocen las causas y las manifestaciones de este. Además, se observa que los estudiantes tienen una preocupación por los efectos adversos del cambio climático, lo que sugiere la necesidad de profundizar en los factores relacionados con la crisis climática. En conclusión, se hace evidente la importancia de desarrollar estrategias de educación ambiental y alfabetización climática para fomentar el conocimiento y la conciencia sobre la crisis climática actual. Esto permitirá que los individuos adquieran habilidades y herramientas para tomar decisiones informadas y contribuir a la mitigación y adaptación al cambio climático. | es-ES |
