The social implications that are mediated by the technologization of human interactions have an impact on how human development is considered in its different areas, mainly including education. To obtain an approach to this phenomenon, it has been consider ed to analyze the theory of network society, characterized by the omnipresence of technology and connectivity, globalization, as a driving force, has expanded educational horizons by promoting cultural diversity and the exchange of ideas worldwid e and connectivism as a relevant theoretical framework, highlighting the importance of networks and collaboration in the learning of students called digital natives of the 21st century.Las implicaciones sociales que se encuentran mediadas por las tecnologización de las interacciones humanas, tienen una repercusión en cómo se plantea el desarrollo humano en sus distintos ámbitos, incluido principalmente la educación, para obtener una aproximación a tal fenómeno se ha considerado analizar la teoría de la sociedad red, caracterizada por la omnipresencia de la tecnología y la conectividad, la globalización, como fuerza impulsora, ha ampliado los horizontes educativos al fomentar la diversidad cultural y el intercambio de ideas a nivel mundial y el conectivismo como un marco teórico relevante, destacando la importancia de las redes y la colaboración en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes denominados como nativos digitales del siglo 21
