dc.descriptionFaced with the educational challenges generated by the COVID-19 pandemic in Central America and specifically in El Salvador, the governments of the region implemented emergency actions to achieve educational continuity in a remote environment. This context accelerated the processes of digitalization, adoption of new and innovative educational strategies and proposed the critical path of a new pedagogical model. In this framework, the notions of multimodality, hybrid education and blended learning emerge. This process has been full of challenges, but the Salvadoran experience demonstrates how the ability to adapt in times of uncertainty is key to the reconversion and improvement of education.en-US
dc.descriptionFrente a los desafíos educativos generados por la pandemia de COVID-19 en Centroamérica y específicamente en El Salvador, los gobiernos de la región implementaron acciones de emergencia para lograr la continuidad educativa en un entorno remoto. Este contexto aceleró los procesos de digitalización, adopción de novedosas e innovadoras estrategias educativas y planteó la ruta crítica de un nuevo modelo pedagógico. En este marco surgen las nociones de multimodalidad, educación híbrida y aprendizaje combinado. Este proceso ha estado lleno de retos, pero la experiencia salvadoreña demuestra cómo la capacidad de adaptación en tiempos de incertidumbre es clave para la reconversión y mejora de la educación.es-ES
