| dc.description | This research aims to examine the nature of the orthographic reform proposals in the late nineteenth century in Spain, when Bourbon Restoration is established. From this moment, there is a resurgence of Spanish neography that, supported by the impulse from the different international reform movements, finds new reasons to expose its proposals and reform requests in some spaces of public opinion, specially in the press, which stands as the key piece for the orthographic discussion. This work will serve, from a general point of view, to evaluate the role of the written press in the resurgence of neographic actions in Spain; from a specific perspective, it aims to bring to light the reformist proposals from the historical press and to carry out its study taking into account the conjunction of the internal and external perspectives of linguistic historiography. | en-US |
| dc.description | Esta investigación pretende examinar la naturaleza de las propuestas de reforma ortográfica que se producen en la última etapa del siglo XIX en España, coincidiendo con el inicio de la Restauración Borbónica. A partir de este momento, se da un resurgimiento de la neografía española que, apoyada en el impulso de los diferentes movimientos internacionales de reforma, encuentra renovados motivos para sacar a la luz sus planteamientos y peticiones de reforma en algunos espacios de opinión pública, especialmente, en la prensa, que de nuevo se erige como la pieza clave en el debate ortográfico. Este trabajo sirve, desde un punto de vista general, para evaluar el papel de la prensa escrita en el resurgimiento de las acciones neógrafas en España; desde un punto de vista específico, para dar a conocer nuevas propuestas reformistas a partir de la prensa histórica y llevar a cabo su estudio teniendo en cuenta para ello la conjunción de las perspectivas interna y externa de la historiografía lingüística. | es-ES |
