This article analyzes and contextualizes lyrical and musical satirical creation online, in the scenario of social distancing imposed by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The aim is to address the phenomenon of the murga in Chile, as a carnival expression that integrates music and lyrics, from the perspective of interculturality in global Latin America, and how the Internet can enable processes of cultural identification and transmission of counter-hegemonic content, contributing to social reflection on everyday life and social problems of the middle and low-income classes. Several ensembles of Uruguayan-style murgas in Chile, between March and April 2020, joined a virtual challenge, create and disseminate a short song, a salpicón of sung news, to give an account of the current social, political, and health situation in the country. This article facilitates an understanding of how these groups are constituted as reflexive artistic agents in an intercultural context, based on an analysis of the texts created for this instance.Este artículo analiza y contextualiza el fenómeno de la creación lírica y musical satírica difundida por medios virtuales, en el escenario de distanciamiento social que la crisis sanitaria por el virus SARS-CoV-2 ha impuesto. Se trata de abordar el fenómeno de la murga en Chile, como una expresión carnavalesca que integra música y lírica, desde la mirada de la interculturalidad en la América Latina global, y analizar cómo Internet puede posibilitar procesos de identificación cultural y de transmisión de contenidos contrahegemónicos que contribuyan a la reflexión social sobre la cotidianeidad y las problemáticas sociales de los sectores populares. Diversas agrupaciones de murgas de estilo uruguayo en Chile, entre los meses de marzo y abril de 2020 se sumaron a un desafío virtual que consistió en crear y difundir una canción breve, un salpicón de noticias cantadas, para dar cuenta de la actualidad social, política y sanitaria nacional. Se trata entonces de comprender cómo estas agrupaciones se constituyen en agentes artísticos reflexivos dentro de un contexto intercultural, para lo cual realizaremos un análisis de los textos creados para esta instancia.
