dc.descriptionIn the context of the triple planetary crisis (pollution, biodiversity loss, and climate change), a negative impact on people's mental health is observed. New concepts emerge in global media and within the field of psychology to represent the negative feelings accompanying the global ecological crises, both present and future, such as 'eco-anxiety' and 'climate anxiety.' Through this review, a theoretical and conceptual differentiation of both concepts is made, from a historical and problematizing perspective on the terminology, to contextualize the current challenges in Latin America, within the framework of emerging research in Chile, and to identify opportunities for the development of research lines and thematic areas that could be relevant in addressing increasingly complex challenges.en-US
dc.descriptionEn el contexto de la triple crisis planetaria —contaminación, pérdida de biodiversidad y cambio climático— se observa un impacto negativo en la salud mental de las personas. Surgen nuevos conceptos en los medios globales y en los campos de la psicología para representar los sentimientos negativos que acompañan las crisis ecológicas globales, tanto presentes como futuras, tales como la “ecoansiedad” y la “ansiedad climática”. A través de la presente revisión, se realiza una diferenciación teórica y conceptual de ambos conceptos, a partir de una mirada histórica y problematizadora de las terminologías, con el fin de contextualizar los desafíos presentes en Latinoamérica, en el marco de las investigaciones incipientes en Chile, y de identificar las oportunidades para el desarrollo de líneas de investigación y áreas temáticas que puedan ser relevantes ante problemáticas cada vez más complejas, estableciendo ciertos hallazgos clave respecto a las brechas en la investigación de la ecoansiedad en Latinoamérica.es-ES
