dc.description	This article ascertains the attempt contemporary philosophy makes to excel metaphysics and presents some of the weaknesses to achieve that goal. The German philosopher Jürgen Habermas tends to be more inclined to support this postmetaphisic thought basically through a new conceptualisation of reason and science. Nevertheless, in the light of Jacques Derrida's work it is possible to see that Western thought has become a philosophical discourse -which makes science possible- as long as it remains within the essential legacy left by Greek philosophy. That is, within a definite conception of the Being. Thus, it may not be reasonable to expect just surmounting metaphysics but rather the assumption and projection of such a legacy.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo constata el intento de la filosofía contemporánea por hacer posible una superación de la metafísica y plantea algunas de las debilidades de tal propósito. A favor de de un pensamiento postmetafísico, se inclina el filósofo alemán Jürgen Habermas, fundamentalmente a través de una nueva conceptualización de la razón y de la ciencia. Sin embargo, a la luz de la obra de Jacques Derrida, es posible apreciar que el pensamiento occidental se ha constituido como un discurso filosófico que hace posible a la ciencia en la medida en que permanece dentro del legado esencial de la filosofía griega. Esto es, dentro de una determinada concepción del ente. Por lo cual no cabe esperar una simple superación de la metafísica sino, más bien una asunción y una proyección de tal herencia.	es-ES
