The article explores the notion of belief present in the philosophy of F. H. Jacobi and the critical appropriation that Hegel makes of this concept. First, it discusses the emergence of Jacobi's philosophy in the context of classical German philosophy. From there, it aims to thematize the concept of belief in light of Jacobi's realism and how it contrasts with the notions of belief found in the philosophies of Hume and Kant. Finally, it seeks to establish the impact of Jacobi's philosophy on Hegel's thought, through a critique and reappropriation that will lead to an unavoidable logical relationship between immediacy and mediation.El artículo indaga en la noción de creencia presente en la filosofía de F. H. Jacobi y en la apropiación crítica que Hegel lleva a cabo de tal concepto. Primeramente, se expone la irrupción de la filosofía jacobiana en el contexto de la filosofía clásica alemana. A partir de aquello se pretende tematizar el concepto de creencia a la luz del realismo de Jacobi y en cómo éste se contrapone a las nociones de creencia presentes en las filosofías de Hume y Kant. Finalmente se busca establecer la repercusión de la filosofía de Jacobi en el pensamiento de Hegel, a partir de una crítica y reapropiación que dará lugar a una ineludible relación lógica entre inmediatez y mediación.
