dc.descriptionObjective: This study analyzes the labor organization strategies of trans sex workers, based on the conditions in which the sexual service is developed, through the experience shared by trans women in Chile. Positioning itself from a pro-rights perspective that considers sex work as a legitimate labor activity. Method:Through a qualitative approach, seven semi-structured interviews were conducted with trans women who have worked in street- based and indoor sex workplaces. The interviews were subjected to content analysis using Atlas.ti software. Results: The following categories were obtained: a) Multiple voices of the trans experience; b) Structural framework of sex work; and c) Sex work by trans women: its practice and organization. Conclusions: The study discusses the labor organization strategies employed by workers in their work settings, which may be individual and/or collective, and have two functions, to organize their work and provide either personal and/or group care.en-US
dc.descriptionObjetivo: Este estudio analiza las estrategias de organización laboral de trabajadoras sexuales trans, en base a las condiciones en que se desarrolla el servicio sexual, a través de las vivencias relatadas de mujeres trans en Chile. Desde una perspectiva proderecho, que considera al trabajo sexual como una actividad laboral legítima. Método: A través de un abordaje cualitativo, se realizaron siete entrevistas semiestructuradas a mujeres trans que han ejercido el trabajo sexual callejero y en locales. Estas fueron sujetas a un análisis de contenido mediante el software Atlas.ti. Resultados: Se obtuvieron las siguientes categorías: a) Voces múltiples de la experiencia trans; b) Marco estructural del trabajo sexual; y c) Trabajo sexual de mujeres trans: ejercicio y organización. Conclusión: Se discute sobre las estrategias de organización laboral que despliegan las trabajadoras en sus escenarios laborales, las cuales pueden ser individuales y/o colectivas, y tienen por función la organización de su labor, a la vez de cuidado tanto personal como grupal.es-ES
