This study focuses on identifying two editions of the Corpus Iuris Civilis that Andrés Bello may have used when drafting the Civil Code. In particular, we aim to determine whether these editions were part of his library's catalog. Likewise, locating these copies has allowed us to identify some unpublished notes, which we hope can eventually be attributed to their author. We would be especially pleased to confirm whether the handwritten definition of "Código" found in one of the Digesta is the work of Andrés Bello.El presente trabajo se centra en identificar dos de las ediciones del Corpus Iuris Civilis que Andrés Bello pudo utilizar al momento de escribir el Código Civil. En particular, queremos determinar si ellas formaron parte del catálogo de su biblioteca. De igual forma, hallar estos ejemplares nos ha permitido identificar algunas notas inéditas, las que esperamos que en un futuro pueda ser adjudicada su autoría, ya que nos complacería determinar si la definición manuscrita de Código hallada en uno de los Digestos es obra de don Andrés Bello.
