The article presents the translations of a text originally written in Italian and reflects on the crucial role of cultural translation and the editorial adaptations made by Ediciones ERA, Pasado y Presente and Anagrama. Using a comparative approach, it examines the history of these three publishing houses and their political-intellectual projects. The article concludes with an analysis of the importance of Spanish-language publishing in Latin America in the context of the Cultural Cold War.El artículo presenta las traducciones de un texto originalmente escrito en italiano y reflexiona sobre la importante labor de la traducción cultural y las adaptaciones editoriales que dicho texto tuvo en los proyectos de Ediciones ERA, Pasado y Presente y Anagrama. Utilizando el método comparativo, el autor expone la historia de estas tres editoriales y sus proyectos político-intelectuales. Concluye con un diagnóstico de la importancia de la industria editorial en español en América Latina en el marco de la Guerra Fría Cultural.
