En este trabajo se estudia la formación histórica del modo de adquirir denominado "accesión", distinto de la ocupación. Este modo no fue definido ni clasificado por los romanos, éstos sólo establecieron el perfil de sus tipos singulares y fijaron su régimen esencial. Fueron los glosadores quienes, aun cuando no ofrecen ninguna idea dogmática unificadora de tal modo, los que aportaron una primera separación de los tipos adquisitivos constitutivos de la ocupación de aquellos constitutivos de la futura accesión y un primer intento por sistematizar sus tipos. La idea que aglutinará el dogma de la denominada "accesión", fue el resultado, según esta investigación, principalmente de los autores: Donellus, Pufendorf y Pothier; junto a los primeros Códigos civiles, como el bávaro, el francés, el sardo, el de la Luisiana y el peruano. En el Código Civil de Chile, Andrés Bello recepcionó el concepto del modo de adquirir accesión, de la tradición antes expuesta finalizada en Pothier, pero agrega una clasificación original suya y muy empírica.In this is studied the historical development of the so-called "accession", manner of acquisition, different from occupation. The Romans did not define or classify this manner of acquisition. They just profiled their singular types and laid the foundations for their essential regime. Albeit legal commentators did not offer any unifying dogmatic idea of such manner of acquisition, they were the first ones in presenting a first classification of the purchasing types constitutive of occupation from those constitutive of the future accession and a first attempt of systematically arrange its types. According to this research, the idea that the dogma adhered of the socalled "accession" comes mainly from the authors: Donellus, Pufendorf and Pothier; together with the first Civil Codes, such as the Bavarian, French, Sardinian, Louisiana and the Peruvian Codes. Andrés Bello in the Chilean Civil Code adopted the concept of accession manner of acquisition, from the aforementioned tradition concluded in Pothier, but adds an original and very empirical classification.
