| dc.description | This work sets forth the present situation of the international climate change legal regime, specially focusing on the events of the last Meeting of the Parties held in December 2009 and on the scenarios that might arise as of 31 December 2012, once the first period of the commitment established in the "Kyoto Protocol" expires. This document proposes a critical approach in relation to the actual international scenario. Considering the weak results of the "Copenhagen Accord", we conclude that it would be necessary to assess whether it is appropriate to keep the discussion centralized under the present regime and to think about the legal architecture to face the problems of climate change. | en-US |
| dc.description | El trabajo expone la situación actual del régimen jurídico internacional del cambio climático, con particular atención a lo ocurrido en la última reunión de las Partes celebrada en Copenhague en diciembre de 2009 y a los posibles escenarios a partir del 31 de diciembre de 2012, una vez que expire el primer período de compromiso fijado en el "Protocolo de Kioto". Él plantea un enfoque crítico frente al actual escenario internacional. Se concluye que, frente a los débiles resultados del "Acuerdo de Copenhague", parece necesario evaluar la pertinencia de continuar centralizando la discusión bajo el régimen vigente y reflexionar acerca de la arquitectura jurídica para enfrentar los problemas del cambio climático. | es-ES |
