R E S U M OO trabalho produtivo originado na gestão da cooperativa de pequenos produtores de animais originou uma possibilidadede aprendizagem científica para estudantes do curso de zootecnia da Universidade Estadual de Alagoas-UNEAL. A formade gerir a cooperativa envolvendo a cultura produtiva de cada unidade empresarial proporciona especificidades econômicase administrativas que resultam no desenvolvimento da formação individual dos estudantes universitários envolvidos. A partirda realização de diagnósticos com os associados, chegou-se ao conhecimento das reais necessidades de informaçõestecnológicas pelos produtores ligados a Cooperativa, buscando-se a partir do conhecimento real das dificuldades em gerir,planejar a extensão universitária, diante da necessidade de dar respostas concretas às carências da comunidade emsuas gestões individuais e coletivas, na cooperação da sociedade de produtores de pequenos animais. The way to manage the cooperativeinvolving the productive culture of each business unit provides administrative and economic specificities that result in thedevelopment of individual training of university students involved. From performing diagnostics with associates, came tothe knowledge of the real needs of information technology by producers connected with the Cooperative, seeking fromthe actual knowledge of the difficulties in managing, planning the university extension, the need to give concrete answersto the needs of the community in their individual and collective efforts in cooperative society of small pets producers.
