La visión de las instituciones educativas, desde una perspectiva de género, las ha convertidoen importantes espacios propiciadores de igualdad, partiendo de que lo más valiosode la sociedad son las potencialidades humanas desdibujadas de las nociones tradicionalesde género. En tal sentido, se revela como un reto en la tarea de educar para la vida, lanecesidad de contribuir a la formulación de proyectos de vida potenciadores del desarrolloprofesional, personal y social, sustentados en el nexo imprescindible entre género y educación.Partiendo de estos presupuestos, en este trabajo presentamos algunas reflexiones,en torno a esta importante misión, basándonos en los resultados de investigaciones dealgunos autores que se han dedicado al estudio del tema desde la perspectiva de género,revelando el valor de formar profesionales desde la significación que tiene en la juventudla construcción de proyectos de vida en diferentes ámbitos de la vida, como la familia,la profesión y la sociedad, de modo que, para hombres y mujeres, resulte satisfactorio ymotivador el desempeño en los diversos espacios sociales.AbstractThe vision of the educational institutions, from the perspective of gender, has turnedthem into important propitious spaces of equality, stating that the most valuable of societyare the human potentialities taken away from the traditional notions of gender.
