| dc.description | Self-regulation, defined as the conscious process of observation and control of our own thinking processes, determines to a large extent whether a specific learning task is successful or not. A major aspect in self-regulated earning is the ability to develop and apply suitable strategies for each specific learning purpose. This, in turn, is directly influenced by motivational factors. The aim of this paper is to examine the theoretical concepts that underlying self-regulation, strategies and motivation so as to describe how they are interrelated and in what ways they influence the learning process. | en-US |
| dc.description | La autorregulación, entendida como un proceso consciente de observación y control del propio pensamiento, determina en cierta medida que una tarea de aprendizaje sea exitosa o no. Un factor clave en un aprendizaje autorregulado es poder desarrollar y aplicar estrategias adecuadas según el objetivo propuesto. Esto a su vez, se ve influenciado de manera directa por mecanismos relacionados con la motivación. El presente trabajo tiene como propósito revisar los conceptos teóricos detrás de cada uno de estos factores - autorregulación, estrategias, y motivación para luego describir la forma en que se interrelacionan e intervienen en todo proceso de aprendizaje. | es-ES |
