| dc.description | El objetivo de este artículo es proponer un prototipo cuantitativo –perfectamente discutible– para definir el concepto de perífrasis verbal en lengua española. Para ello, ofrecemos una primera parte de corte teórico en que, tras repasar el problemático concepto de perífrasis verbal, describimos la teoría del prototipo y los motivos por los que adoptar una perspectiva cuantitativa. A continuación, tratamos de construir el prototipo del concepto de perífrasis verbal, compuesto por ciertas pruebas morfosintácticas –puntuadas– que actúan como rasgos definitorios de la categoría. Al estar configurado desde una perspectiva cuantitativa, se puede aplicar a cada ejemplo concreto para hacerse una idea del grado de aproximación al modelo ideal, si bien seleccionamos tan solo tres perífrasis en oraciones “de laboratorio” a modo de ilustración. | dc.description | The aim of this paper is to propose a prototype that, quantitatively, defines the concept of verbal periphrasis. For that, we divide the text into two parts. On the one hand, after remarking all the problems on the concept “Verbal Periphrase”, we describe the prototype model and the reasons why we should accept a quantitative perspective. On the other hand, we attempt to build the prototype of the concept of Verbal periphrase, applied to three Verbal Periphrases in “Laboratory Sentences”, taking into account the most relevant syntactic and semantic features –scored, just to get an idea of the degree of approach to the pattern. The main conclusion is that, although there is lot of research to be done, this proposal can offer a way of improving the research in other metalinguistic categories | en-US |
