Los espacios urbanos de tendencias metropolitanas representan concentraciones urbanas dominantes, las cuales tienden a ofrecer múltiples satisfactores que anuncian elevar el bienestar de sus habitantes, pero también es en estos lugares, donde el crecimiento demográfico y el territorial acelerado, producen múltiples problemas, entre ellos los espacios de habilitación infraestructural diferente, que dan lugar a la segregación espacial de algunos grupos sociales.
