The research presents and describes the fitness values in players from Puerto Montt Handball Association teams. Seventy nine handball players from the following categories participated: infantile (male and female), cadet (male), juvenile (male and female) and adults (male). Descriptive statistics were used to present the results. Contrasting the obtained values with foreign studies, the most frequent differences are related to weight and height, it seems to be that these variables are determining factors to reach higher levels of sporting performance and it could determine the development of physical qualities.El estudio presenta los valores de condición física en jugadores pertenecientes a los equipos de la Asociación de Handball de Puerto Montt. Participaron 79 jugadores de balonmano de categorías infantil, cadete, juvenil y adulto en género masculino, e infantil y juvenil en género femenino. Se utilizó estadística descriptiva para presentar los resultados. Se destaca la categoría juvenil masculino del equipo Handball Chiloé que posee la mejor condición física general.
