dc.description	On June 2nd of 2014, Juan Carlos I of Spain abdicated the throne. Felipe VI was crowned King on June 19th of the same year. A few days before the abdication, on May 21st, the Royal House opened its official Twitter account. This research analyses the discourse of the Royal House in the social network between its opening day until the coronation of the new king. The initial hypothesis assumes different keys in relation to the thematic agenda proposed by the Royal Institution and the unofficial purpose for which the account was opened. In order to establish relevant conclusions, the methodology includes a quantitative analysis, qualitative and linguistic analysis of the tweets.	en-US
dc.description	El 2 de junio de 2014, Juan Carlos I renunció al trono de España. Felipe VI fue coronado Rey el 19 de junio del mismo año. Pocos días antes de la abdicación, el 21 de mayo, la Casa Real inauguraba su cuenta oficial en Twitter. Esta investigación plantea el análisis del discurso de la Casa Real en la red social desde su apertura hasta día de la coronación del nuevo rey. La hipótesis inicial presupone diferentes claves en relación con la agenda temática propuesta por la institución real y el objetivo no oficial por el que fue abierta la cuenta. Con el fin de establecer conclusiones relevantes, la metodología empleada contempla un análisis cuantitativo, cualitativo y un análisis lingüístico de los tuits.	es-ES
