dc.descriptionThis article states the development of a strategy of job placement for young people with intellectual disabilities, as well as young people in situation of high social vulnerability; it reviews conceptualizations about Supported Employment and describes some successful experiences regarding this matter in the international community. Based on the previous premises, we propose to implement in Chile a model of Supported Employment, as a solution for population segment that needs urgent answers to its job-placement problems.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo expone el desarrollo de una estrategia de inserción laboral para jóvenes con discapacidad intelectual y jóvenes de alta vulnerabilidad social; revisa conceptualizaciones del Empleo con Apoyo y describe algunas experiencias exitosas realizadas al respecto en la comunidad internacional. Basados en lo anterior, proponemos implementar en Chile un modelo de Empleo con Apoyo, como solución para un segmento de la población que requiere de urgente remedio a su problema de inserción laboral.es-ES
