| dc.description | This paper aims to analyze the description of two homosexual characteres portrayed in Jorge Amado’s book Supr published in 1934. We will seek to understand the way the autor addresses the topic and how he deals with the homoerotic characters: Franz, a German piano teacher, and a black man nicknamed Medonho who is a grocer. It will be also pointed out a posible apreciation of the homosexual within a hegemonic masculinity and the rejction of the effeminate homosexual. | en-US |
| dc.description | O presente trabalho propõe analisar a representação de dois personagens homossexuais presente no livro Suor de Jorge Amado, publicado em 1934. Buscaremos entender como o autor aborda a temática e qual tratamento é dado aos personagens gays: Franz, o alemão professor de piano e um negro apelidado de Medonho que é vendedor de frutas. Apontaremos ainda, uma possível valorização do homossexual inscrito dentro de uma masculinidade hegemônica, ocorrendo uma rejeição do homossexual efeminado. | es-ES |
