| dc.description | As believers we witness the absence of women in priestly ministry and church organization. These are spaces that demand their presence as a testimony to the establishment of the Kingdom of God in our history. Equality and cooperation between men and women as disciples of Christ, are the most striking manifestation of the Trinitarian unity and diversity, the core of our faith. The Second Vatican Council, took on the demands of women between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and provided new theological and ecclesiological guidelines for our society, to promote the emergence of new contexts and life experiences to talk about God. Feminist theology emerged from two important movements in our time. On the one hand, the efforts of thousands of women who pushed for a change in patriarchal patterns of inequality. On the other hand, the doors opened by the Second Vatican Council, made possible a theology that embraced the human aspirations that requires transformation. In this work we address the relationship between women's movements, Second Vatican Council and some of its consequences. | en-US |
| dc.description | Como creyentes somos testigos de la ausencia de la mujer en el ministerio sacerdotal y en la organización eclesial. Son espacios que reclaman su presencia como testimonio de la instauración del Reinado de Dios en nuestra historia. La igualdad y la cooperación entre los discípulos y las discípulas de Cristo, debieran ser la manifestación más elocuente de la unidad y diversidad trinitarias, eje de nuestra fe. El Concilio Vaticano II, al asumir las demandas de las mujeres entre los siglos XIX y XX y al entregar nuevos lineamientos teológicos y eclesiológicos para la sociedad actual, impulsa el surgimiento de nuevos contextos y experiencias vitales para hablar de Dios. La teología feminista encuentra su cuna, principalmente, en dos movimientos importantes para nuestro tiempo: Por una parte, el esfuerzo de miles de mujeres que apostaron por un cambio en los modelos patriarcales de desigualdad. Y, por otra parte, a las puertas que abrió el Concilio Vaticano II al posibilitar una teología que recogiera las aspiraciones humanas que requerían de transformación. En este trabajo abordaremos la relación que existe entre los movimientos feministas, el Concilio Vaticano II y algunas de sus consecuencias. | es-ES |
