This article presents the study about moral development judgment based on the theory of Lawrence Kohlberg. It is made of three levels with six stages. Kohlberg became famous because of his work in the middle of the Twentieth Century. He started his cares as a psychologist of mental development and then he moved to the field of moral Education. He was famous through out research studies for moral Education. This theory is abo grounded on the Swiss Jean Piaget. Kohlberg believed and was able to demonstrate it through studies that people go beyond in their moral reasoning be means of a series of stages which could be classified into three levels. Certainly this theory has been and will be applied on the field education.El presente artículo presenta un estudio acerca del desarrollo del juicio moral basado en la teoría de Lawrence Kohlberg, el cual está compuesto por tres niveles con seis estadios. Kohlberg llegó a ser famoso en la mitad del siglo XX por su trabajo del desarrollo del juicio moral. Él comenzó como psicólogo especializado en el desarrollo mental y luego se inició en el ámbito de la educación; fue reconocido particularmente por su teoría del Desarrollo Moral, la que se popularizó por la investigación en Educación Moral. Esta teoría se sustenta también en el pensamiento del suizo Jean Piaget. Kohlberg creyó, y fue capaz de demostrarlo por medio de sus estudios, que las personas progresan en su razonamiento moral a través de una serie de estadios, los cuales podrían ser clasificados en tres niveles. Ciertamente, esta teoría ha sido y será aplicada en el campo de la Educación.
