| dc.description | This article studies the Ornamental Rooster Fair and the Encounter CantaGallo as a process of rural patrimonalization that supports peasant culture. Focusing on this event has allowed analyzing the self-management role and the appropriation processes that allows to visualize and valorize the territory. The rooster contest and its folklore become a strategy of integration of collective initiatives based on local knowledge and cultural expression. We have found that it exists assertion mechanisms from habitants and urban recognition. As a result, cultural, economic and environmental production becomes a territorial innovation. | en-US |
| dc.description | Estudiamos la Feria del Gallo Ornamental y el Encuentro CantaGallo como un proceso de patrimonialización rural a favor de la cultura campesina. La focalización del evento permitió analizar el rol de la autogestión y los procesos de apropiación, los cuales posibilitan visibilizar y valorizar el territorio. El concurso del gallo y su folclor se transforman en una estrategia que integra iniciativas colectivas basadas en saberes locales y en la expresión cultural, donde encontramos mecanismos de reivindicación por parte de los habitantes, junto a un reconocimiento urbano. Como resultado, la producción cultural, económica y ambiental del evento se convierte en una innovación territorial. | es-ES |
