| dc.description | This work addresses the production of ritual tables in the Aymara-Catholic community of Cobija (Chile) during the festivities of San Isidro. These are understood as religious offerings whose materiality establishes a compromise that ensures abundance and prosperity in the coming times. Within the framework of Andean reciprocity, a good reception of these offerings seals a contract between the community and the sacred beings appealed. Starting from this premise, an analysis is done of some material properties of the offerings, highlighting the language that they constitute in order to aesthetically seduce the sacred guests. | en-US |
| dc.description | Se aborda la producción de mesas rituales en la comunidad aymara-católica de Cobija (Chile) durante la Fiesta de San Isidro. Estas se comprenden como ofrendas religiosas cuya materiali­dad establece un compromiso que asegura la abundancia y prosperidad de la época venidera. En el marco de la reciprocidad andina, la buena recepción de estas ofrendas sella un contrato entre la comunidad y los seres sagrados a quienes se apela. A partir de este supuesto, se realiza un análisis de algunas propiedades materiales de las ofrendas, destacando el lenguaje que constituyen para seducir estéticamente a los comensales sagrados. | es-ES |
