This article is a reedition of some aspects addressed previously for a thesis dissertation, work that concentrated around the historic and subjective narratives about death. In the first part it presents information on the theoretical framework of the thesis and the characterization of the four stages through which the attitude of the European person towards death has gone through, from the Middle Ages until today, according to historian of mentalities Philippe Ariès. In the second part the project is set out and the context, the strategy, the graphic guidelines and the functioning are described. The project, entitled “Nobody is safe”, evaluated with maximum honours, seeks to deliver information, testimonies, interpretations and actions of artistic nature that can bring people closer to a taboo subject: death.Este artículo es una reedición de algunos aspectos tratados en una tesis de grado, trabajo que giró en torno a las narrativas históricas y subjetivas sobre la muerte. En la primera parte se presenta información del marco teórico de la tesis y se caracterizan las cuatro etapas por las que ha pasado la actitud del hombre europeo frente a la muerte, desde la Edad Media hasta hoy, según el historiador de las mentalidades Philippe Ariès. En la segunda parte se plantea el proyecto y se describen el contexto, la estrategia, los lineamientos gráficos y el funciona­miento. El proyecto, titulado “Nadie se salva” y evaluado con distinción máxima, busca entregar información, testimonios, interpretaciones y acciones de carácter artístico que acerquen a las personas a un tema tabú: la muerte.
