The following article is meant to show the approach of a cordial ethics, as developed by Adela Cortina, from which she tries to supplement and ground her ethical-political project of a world-wide, intercultural ethics, rooted in a civic ethics of pluralist societies with democratic States and States governed by the rule of law. A cordial reason that would come to change the ethic of speech into a warmer version of itself.El presente artículo tiene como propósito mostrar la propuesta de una ética cordial desarrollada por Adela Cortina, postulado a partir del cual intenta complementar y fundamentar su proyecto ético-político de una ética mundial e intercultural, enraizada en una ética cívica de las sociedades pluralistas con Estados democráticos y de Derecho. Una razón cordial que vendría a transformar la ética del discurso en una versión más cálida de la misma.
