dc.descriptionRESUMEN:Este artí­culo describe y analiza, desde una perspectiva general y sintetizada, el desarrollo en el tiempo de las polí­ticas educacionales en Gestión Escolar implementadas en Chile durante el perí­odo 1990-2006. En particular, describe el proceso por el cual la Gestión Escolar, de tener un valor auxiliar en el diseño de las polí­ticas durante los noventa, llega a ser una de las estrategias más relevantes –desde el año 2003– para elevar la calidad del sistema escolar chileno.Palabras clave: Polí­ticas Educacionales; Gestión Escolar; Sistema Escolar.Development and analysis of educational policies on school management implementedin chile during the 1990-2006 periodABSTRACT:This paper describes and analyzes, from a general and synthesized perspective, thedevelopment in the time of the educational policies in School Management implementedin Chile during the period 1990-2006.
