Abstract
This essay seeks to reflect on what diversities mean from the reading of Carlos Skliar and the first Martín Heidegger as a search to meet, coexist and coexist in educational spaces. Based on Carlos Skliar's proposal, the school and teacher training are understood from pedagogy of absence and pedagogy of hospitality. Both would generate a correlate in the forms of appropriation of the teaching being from the absence and hospitality that can be projected to the initial teacher training processes. Establishing absence means understanding the other as an incomplete being that must be for tomorrow and that is not yet. Hospitality, on the other hand, is an invitation to the other from respect and tolerance, but being understood as abnormal and that must also be improved. At the end of the essay, the search for a pedagogy of openness, understanding and common-action is invited to address diversities as a co-inhabit, considering that diversities are established in our grammars, ways of understanding the world, listening to ethical way to others. The term diversities is proposed in the sense of expanding the concept and not as a univocal way of thinking.
