| dc.description | El Torrontés Riojano se ha convertido en una variedad emblemática del sector vitivinícola de la provincia de La Rioja, Argentina, tanto por su relevancia productiva como por su raigambre cultural. Hoy el Torrontés Riojano constituye la única variedad autóctona de la Argentina, siendo reconocido en el mundo como un emblema del vino blanco nacional. No obstante, la cepa enfrenta una multiplicidad de desafíos por su contexto nacional e internacional, al tiempo que no existe suficiente literatura que registre y analice su desarrollo socioproductivo en la provincia de La Rioja. En este contexto, el propósito del presente trabajo es reseñar y analizar la emergencia y la trayectoria de la cepa Torrontés Riojano, abordando las principales características productivas, empresariales y tendencias de su producción en la provincia de La Rioja. Para ello, se trabaja con información documental, fuentes históricas, con el registro de archivos y se utilizan estadísticas nacionales, para finalmente plantear ciertos desafíos futuros. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The Torrontes Riojano has become an emblematic variety of the wine sector in the province of La Rioja, Argentina, both because of its productive relevance and its cultural roots. The Torrontes Riojano constitutes the only autochthonous variety of Argentina is worldwide recognized as an emblem of Argentine white wine. However, the strain faces a multiplicity of challenges given by the national and international context, while there is not enough literature that records and analyzes its socio-productive development for the province of La Rioja. In this context, the purpose of this work is to review and analyze the emergence and trajectory of the Torrontes Riojano strain, addressing its main productive and entrepreneurial features and trends of production for the province of La Rioja. In doing so, we work with documentary information, historical sources, and national statistics. Finally, some future challenges are introduced. | en-US |
