Abstract
This paper examines the important role assigned to the concept of "sensitivity" in the Epicurean Doctrine, as subscribed by the Latin philosopher Lucretius (ca. 97-55 BC). The author attempts to show how the Atomic Theory, the Doctrine of Simulacra and Hedonism are articulated in the Epicurean conception of the Universe, starting from a particular notion of sensitivity which is based on the absolute reliance on the testimony of the senses En el presente trabajo se investiga el rol fundamental que juega el concepto de 'sensibilidad' al interior de la doctrina epicúrea, a la que suscribe el filósofo latino Lucrecio (ca. 97-55 a.C.).
