| dc.description | This research portrays the social and academic perception of students and professors, in engineering physics, in mandatory confinement due to Covid-19 in Chile. The study was carried outthrough interviews with groups from two universities (public and private), identifying common problems for teachers and students. Among the main difficulties is the quality of the internet, theimplementation and use of digital tools, and the lack of its own space to attend classes. It should be noted that regardless of the house of study, the recording of classes and asynchronous evaluations is valued by students and teachers, but only 40% of teachers consider that learning results are achieved, and of students it is a percentage those who perceive that theyare reached, and it is a minority percentage who agree, that the contents are treated in a similar way to face-to-face. | en-US |
| dc.description | Esta investigación retrata la percepción social y académica de estudiantes y docentes, en el área de física para ingeniería, en confinamiento obligatorio por el Covid-19 en Chile. El estudio serealizó mediante entrevistas a grupos de dos universidades (público y privada), identificando problemas comunes para docentes como para estudiantes. Entre las principales dificultades se encuentra la calidad del internet, la implementación y uso de herramientas digitales y la falta de un espacio propio para asistencia a clases. Se destaca que indistintamente de la casade estudio, resulta valorable por estudiantes y docentes, la grabación de las clases y las evaluaciones asincrónicas, pero solo un 40% de los docentes considera que se alcanzan los resultados deaprendizaje. Entre los estudiantes es un porcentaje menor quienes perciben que se alcancen y es un porcentaje minoritario quien está de acuerdo con que se tratan los contenidos de manera similar a la presencialidad. | es-ES |
