Constructivism, with its student-centered approach and active knowledge construction, has been a cornerstone in education fordecades. However, in an increasingly digitalized and globalized world, new demands and challenges arise that require more flexible and personalized educational approaches. This is where adaptive learning comes into play, leveraging advanced technologies to offer a more individualized, data-driven education. Through a detailed review of these two pedagogical models, the article highlights their similarities, differences, and the potential they hold for transforming education in the future. It argues that while constructivism has laid the groundwork for modern pedagogy, adaptive learning represents the next phase in educational evolution, offering new opportunities for personalization and effectiveness in teaching. | en-US |

El constructivismo, con su enfoque centrado en el alumno y la construcción activa del conocimiento, ha sido un pilar en la educación durante décadas. Sin embargo, en un mundo cada vez más digitalizado y globalizado, surgen nuevas demandas y desafíos que requieren enfoques educativos más flexibles y personalizados. Aquí es donde el aprendizaje adaptativo entra en escena, aprovechando las tecnologías avanzadas para ofrecer una educación más individualizada y basada en datos. A través de una revisión detallada de estos dos modelos pedagógicos, el artículo destaca sus similitudes, diferencias y el potencial que tienen para transformar la educación en el futuro. Se argumenta que, aunque el constructivismo ha sentado las bases para la pedagogía moderna, el aprendizaje adaptativo representa la siguiente fase en la evolución educativa, ofreciendo nuevas oportunidades para la personalización y la eficacia en la enseñanza. | es-ES |
