dc.descriptionIn this article the theological thought of Gavin D’Costa is put forward, which deals with non Christian religions, breaking away from the critic that he makes in his doctoral thesis to the pluralist paradigm of John Hick. D’Costa refutes, point by point, the term ‘U-turn revolution’ that the English pluralist theologian plants in his works, and from this world, elaborates a deep critic of pluralist theology of religions. The work of Gavin D’Costa is made up in one of the best fundamental attempts to establish, within the catholic tradition, a christocentric inclusivism, that combines the salvific university of God with the unity of Christ, without forgetting the important role of the Church in the salvation economy.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo se presenta el pensamiento teológico de Gavin D’Costa sobre las religiones no cristianas, partiendo de la crítica que hace en su tesis doctoral al paradigma pluralista de John Hick. D’Costa rebate, punto por punto, la llamada “revolución copernicana” que el teólogo pluralista inglés plantea en sus obras y, de este modo, elabora una profunda crítica de la teología pluralista de las religiones. La obra de Gavin D’Costa se constituye así en uno de los intentos mejor fundamentados para establecer, dentro de la tradición católica, un inclusivismo cristocéntrico, que conjugue la universalidad salvífica de Dios con la unicidad de Cristo, sin olvidar el importante papel de la Iglesia en la economía de la salvación.es-ES
