dc.descriptionIt was carried out within the framework of the research seedbed attached to the Vice-Chancellor for Research of the University Cauca, had the objective of this paper is to identify the Environmental Education´s conceptions of Bachelor's degree students in Basic Education with an emphasis in Natural Sciences and Environmental in a South-West University in Colombia. The research used a case study from an epistemological interpretive approach, a survey was done and after that it was analyzed and interpreted. Fifteen environmental education´s conceptions were identified. The most commons conceptions in students are Holistic, Social Criticism and Resolutive. With this work, was possible to identify that the educative level doesn´t determinate an environmental conception, because the conceptions arise from cultural, politics, economics activities, or in other factors where people live around.  en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo fue realizado en el marco del Semillero de Investigación Ciencias, Acciones y Creencias adscrito a la Vicerrectoría de Investigaciones de la Universidad del Cauca, tuvo como objetivo identificar las concepciones de Educación Ambiental, que tienen los estudiantes de un Programa de Licenciatura en Educación Básica con énfasis en Ciencias Naturales y Educación Ambiental de una Universidad del Sur Occidente colombiano. La investigación se llevó a cabo mediante un estudio de caso desde un enfoque epistemológico interpretativo, para el cual se aplicó una encuesta que posteriormente fue analizada e interpretada. Se identificaron quince concepciones de educación ambiental. Las concepciones más presentes en los estudiantes encuestados son la Holística, Crítica Social y la Resolutiva. Con este trabajo se pudo identificar que la tendencia a seleccionar o identificarse con una concepción ambiental, no sólo se determina por el nivel educativo, pues ésta se construye también desde las actividades culturales, políticas, económicas, entre otros factores presentes en donde se desarrolla el sujeto.  es-ES
