dc.descriptionThis article discusses Static Cycle-Biotope for Ants, Plants, and Humans (2024), an interactive eco-art installation that creates a biotope for a biological community containing both plants and Messor barbarus ants. This dynamic space encourages collaboration and mutual observation, questioning the division between nature and culture and exploring the shared agency between humans and other living beings. In its version installed at the Museum of Science and Water in Murcia, the public pedals to maintain the ecosystem, exploring intra-actions, according to Karen Barad’s theoretical framework. The artwork critiques traditional causality, proposing a relational ontology that reveals how human and non-human actions co-constitute shared realities that are shaped as interfaces of inter-species cooperation that, in turn, promote the production of a biophilic subjectivity.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo analiza la obra Ciclo-biotopo estático para hormigas, plantas y humanos (2024), una instalación eco-artística interactiva que crea un biotopo para una comunidad biológica que incluye plantas y hormigas Messor barbarus. Este espacio dinámico busca fomentar la colaboración y la observación mutualista, cuestionando la separación entre naturaleza y cultura, y ensayando la agencia compartida entre seres humanos y otros seres vivos. En su versión instalada en el Museo de la Ciencia y el Agua de Murcia, el público pedalea para mantener el ecosistema, explorando las intra-acciones, según el marco teórico de Karen Barad. La obra critica la causalidad tradicional, proponiendo una ontología relacional que muestra cómo las acciones humanas y las no humanas co-constituyen realidades compartidas que se formalizan como interfaces de cooperación interespecie que, a su vez, promueven la producción de una subjetividad de carácter biofílico.es-ES
