This work presents some emerging findings within research that aimed to analyze the relationship between affectivity and sexuality in the education program on Sexuality, Affectivity, and Gender, carried out in a high school in the commune of Coronel. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the program through the perception of the students themselves, who were trained around the proposal, whose ages range from 15 to 17 years. The methodology is qualitative with a phenomenological approach and focused on an analysis of the basic core of an inductive nature. A total of 14 semi- structured interviews were conducted. The emerging findings, different from the initial research objectives, indicate that sexual education training has focused on the reproductive aspect, leaving aside the affective component. The central dimensions that a program of these characteristics should have, according to the perception of the beneficiary adolescents, involve addressing the emotional well-being dimensions, social interaction and diversity, and ethics and care. The need to evaluate compliance with the program in question and its commitment to incorporating affectivity is notedEste trabajo presenta algunos hallazgos emergentes dentro de una investigación que se propuso analizar la relación entre afectividad y sexualidad en el programa de educación en Sexualidad, Afectividad y Género, ejecutado en un liceo de la comuna de Coronel. El propósito del estudio fue evaluar el programa a través de la percepción del alumnado que se formó en torno a la propuesta, cuyas edades comprenden un rango de 15 a 17 años. La metodología es cualitativa, con un enfoque fenomenológico y centrada en un análisis del núcleo básico de carácter inductivo. Se realizaron un total de 14 entrevistas semiestructuradas. Los hallazgos emergentes, distintos de los objetivos de la investigación inicial, indican que la formación en educación sexual se ha enfocado en lo reproductivo, dejando de lado el componente afectivo. Las dimensiones centrales que debería tener un programa de estas características, según la percepción de los adolescentes beneficiarios, incluyen el bienestar emocional, la interacción social y diversidad, y la ética y cuidados. Se constata la necesidad de evaluar el cumplimiento del programa en cuestión y su compromiso de incorporar la afectividad.
