dc.description	This article presents the findings of an exploratory research that addressed the measurement of variables associated with reading comprehension and text production in individuals with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). The main objective is to describe and compare reading and writing performance between students with TDL and their normotypical peers in elementary school. The study sample included 32 elementary school students, who were subjected to a standardized assessment of reading comprehension and text production (CL-PT). The results revealed that readers with TDL showed lower performance in the dimensions evaluated by the test, and statistically significant differences were found between the two participating groups.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo presenta los hallazgos de una investigación exploratoria que abordó la medición de variables asociadas a la comprensión lectora y producción de textos en individuos con Trastorno del Desarrollo del Lenguaje (TDL). El objetivo principal es describir y comparar el rendimiento en lectura y escritura entre estudiantes que presentan TDL y sus pares normotípicos del primer ciclo básico. La muestra del estudio incluyó a 32 estudiantes de primer ciclo básico, quienes fueron sometidos a una evaluación estandarizada de comprensión lectora y producción de textos (CL-PT). Los resultados revelaron que los lectores con TDL mostraron desempeños más bajos en las dimensiones evaluadas por la prueba, y se evidenciaron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre los dos grupos participantes.	es-ES
